praise report

Early this week a friend that I used to work with called me, and before the conversation ended my friend made a statement. Well I was pleased to hear what he had to say because it was nice words about Bro.Donald. Apparently Bro.Donald made a good impression on my friend some time ago. Bro.Donald, I will tell you face to face the next time I see you, but for an public announcement I just want to say that Bro.Joe is very proud of you, just keep on keeping on.

What is this I see? Oh, it's only the shell of what used to be.

heart stuff

Their are no willows with harps in them here But "Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of thy people" ( read Jer 9:1- )Jeremiah knew that things have just gone to far, now GOD was pouring out his wrath and all man could do was weep! Not everything can be fixed.

"Well son their was a time when the Lord GOD parted the waters of Jordan, so that his people could cross over into the promise land." "Yes father I have heard this story all my life, but the reason I don't believe it is because they were suppose to be a landmark of stones, so that my generation would be reminded of the greatness of the LORD. So father, what happen to the old landmark?" "Well son their were some that rethought the directions of the Lord and considered those stones irrelevant and moved them to another place where they would not get in the way."

"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works or else"

Take me back, take me back dear Lord to where I first met with you!! The old paths, These stones set up after the crossing, how dare we think that God has ever changed, when his word says that he changes NOT!!! The changing of times and culture does not equate in Man trying to change GODS ways , his ways stay the same.

Courage, bravery, and fearlessness are needed especially when in battle. These are the qualities of the one that the label of "valor" has been bestowed upon. Such courage is not reckless foolishness, but the resolve not to be intimidated "not given thought to the opinion of man, but only to how God views me". It is the courage inspired by faithfulness to a greater concern than the opposing forces. Not giving one's self over to a compromising world view, and trying by slick and crafty techniques to REMOVE the old landmarks handed down by our forefathers. To do nothing else, but to bring about the twisted, distorted views of MAN, trying to put that in the place of the power of GOD.
